FAQS
ADHD coaching is a non-medical support that helps people with ADHD learn skills to help them achieve their goals. It involves working with a group of people to provide education about ADHD, building on individual strengths and resources, and developing new strategies and systems in daily life to help minimise the impact of ADHD symptoms. The focus of the ADHD Almanac's program is on assisting parents with ADHD.
Navigating Parenthood with ADHD: From Chaos to Calm...(ish!) is a 6-week program designed to assist parents who have ADHD themselves. Each week, you’ll get a video from Dr. Milligan along with a workbook to guide you through the lessons. You’ll also have access to a weekly group coaching session led by Dr. Milligan, who is both a parent and an ADHDer herself!
The ADHD Almanac has been developed by Dr Claire Milligan, who is a parent to two ADHDer kids and also has ADHD herself. Claire has a background in clinical psychology, which has allowed her to keep on top of all the best ADHD research and distill this down into effective strategies in order to assist other ADHDer parents.
And most importantly, during the Navigating Parenthood with ADHD course, Claire hosts a weekly group coaching session. You'll be able to meet other adults navigating this crazy world of parenting with ADHD, share strategies and resources and build connections.
